About the Artist:
Stirling MacArthur is a visual artist based in Snoqualmie Washington, as well as a proud member of the Snoqualmie Tribe. His work focuses on combining Coast Salish design with the symmetrical values of sacred geometry, thus Salish Geometry! He works primarily with digital art, graphic design and traditional illustration. While he often collaborates with the Snoqualmie Tribe, his most notable collaboration is with Eighth Generation, a tribally owned, Seattle based company which prides itself on being an authentically Indigenous designed art and lifestyle brand. Not only does his inspiration come from the plants, animals, mountains, and water ways of the Pacific Northwest but also through the exploration of new mediums of art. He finds that each art form teaches him something new.It is his goal to take each of these things that he learns along the way and apply them to his next project with the hopes of creating something timeless that connects with all people.
