Inspired by Coach Sonia Raman’s journey—rooted in vibrant Indian culture, family, food, and celebration—the tee centers on finding joy in what you do, from the sideline to the court to the stands. A closer look behind the design reveals intentional details that bring that message to life: India-inspired textiles, a lotus flower symbolizing growth mindset and connection to India’s national identity, and peacock feathers representing joy and prosperity. Nods to Coach Raman’s path, including references to where her coaching journey began at MIT, are woven throughout, making this piece more than apparel—it’s a wearable reminder to lean into joy, honor heritage, and play with purpose alongside the Seattle Storm.
